It has long been used in traditional Chinese medicine. This wildcrafted herb effectively heals respiratory ailments, boosts the immune system, breaks up phlegm, and fights infections. Itis used today to aid weight loss, soothe sore throats, accelerate wound healing, and reduce pain and fever.

Enjoy its benefits in a tincture or tea. To make a tincture, use 3 parts of alcohol and 1 part of water. Place usnea and water into a jar, cover it then place into the crockpot of water or low on stove.
